Quick Start
This guide walks you through your first interaction with Presentable after installation.
1. Open the task pane
Section titled “1. Open the task pane”Click the Presentable icon in your PowerPoint ribbon. The chat panel opens on the right side of your window.
If you don’t see the icon, go to Insert → Get Add-ins → My Add-ins and click Presentable to activate it.
2. Create your first slide
Section titled “2. Create your first slide”Type a message like:
Create a title slide for a quarterly business review. Use a dark background with the title “Q3 2026 Review” and subtitle “Growth & Strategy”.
Presentable creates the slide with proper layout, typography, and styling — real PowerPoint shapes you can edit.
3. Edit existing content
Section titled “3. Edit existing content”Navigate to any slide and ask Presentable to modify it:
Make the title larger and change the background to a gradient from dark blue to teal.
It reads your current slide before making changes, so edits are always contextual.
4. Add charts and images
Section titled “4. Add charts and images”Generate visual content through conversation:
Add a bar chart showing monthly revenue: Jan 120k, Feb 135k, Mar 142k, Apr 158k.
Generate an image of a modern office workspace and place it on the right half of the slide.
5. Iterate
Section titled “5. Iterate”The best results come from iteration. Start broad, then refine:
- “Create a slide about our team structure”
- “Add photos for each team member”
- “Make the layout more compact and add role titles”
Each message builds on the current state of your slide.
- Be specific — “dark blue background with white text in Helvetica” gives better results than “make it look nice”
- Works across slides — Presentable can create and edit multiple slides in parallel. Ask for a full deck or changes across several slides at once
- Use undo — press
Ctrl+Z(orCmd+Zon Mac) to revert any change Presentable makes. All changes are standard PowerPoint operations
